1. I don't know about you, but I love getting free stuff, especially when it takes little or no effort from me and gets me big rewards. For the next month, is having a Facebook contest to give away four free hours of babysitting. The contest ends on April 29 and a winner will be picked on May 1.

3. Check out Shrewsbury's future stars at the Talent Show tonight with students from . The performances start at 6:30 p.m. at the auditorium.

5. On this day in 1981, a crazed fan of Jodi Foster shot President Ronald Reagan. He was attempting to get the attention of the actress. Reagan survived the shooting, but three others were shot including a White House press secretary, a police officer and secret service agent. The press secretary suffered permanent brain damage, but everyone else, including the president, recovered, according to history.com.
