1. Eamon McCarthy Earls will speak about his new book Wachusett: How Boston’s 19th Century Quest for Water Changed Four Towns and A Way of Life at the at 7 p.m. His talk describes the creation of the Wachusett Reservoir and dam, which is now under the authority of the Metropolitan Water Resources Authority. Copies of the book will be available during the meeting. The event is free of charge; all are welcome.
2. The last day to register to vote in the annual town election is Wednesday, April 11. Stop by the to fill out the proper forms.

3. Grab your flashlights and head to the Flashlight EGGstravaganza at at 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration was required and the cost is $5 per child.
4. It might actually be time to put away those winter coats. This week, highs will be in the mid to high 50s and sunny. Make sure to get outside and enjoy the sun.

5. It's Children's Book Day, so bring your kids to the library or stop by a local bookstore to pick up a favorite book. One of my favorite books is the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.
