Price Chopper Worker Dies

Carolyn M. (Shepard) Paquette, 75, died on Tuesday.

Carolyn M. (Shepard) Paquette, 75, of York Beach, ME, died on Tuesday, July 3 in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Brighton after a lengthy illness.

Born December 22, 1936 in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late John B. Shepard and Catherine (Cooney) Shepard. She attended Leicester High School and worked in the Deli Departments of the Big D and in Shrewsbury and Marlboro and retiring in 1996.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roland C. Paquette; two daughters, Lou Ann Painter of Lancaster, MA, and Carol Bartlett and husband David of Osterville, MA, four sons, Thomas and his wife Paula (Heffernan) Paquette, of Monroe Township, NJ, Stephen Paquette of Northborough, MA, Wayne and his wife Heather (Mill) Paquette of Hudson, MA, Daniel and his wife Kathleen (Daly) Paquette of Westford, MA, nine grandchildren, Michelle Bartlett of Osterville, MA, Keith Painter of Burlington, VT, Tyler & Bailey Paquette of Monroe Township, NJ, Erica Paquette of Shrewsbury, MA, Hannah and Jessica Paquette of Westford MA, Michael and Nicole Paquette of Hudson, MA. One brother, Philip Shepard of Elyria, OH, two sisters, Patricia Lyden of Sturbridge, MA, and Madeline Vounce of Canterbury CT. A brother, John B. Shepard of Radcliff, KY predeceased her.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held Monday, July 9th, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York, ME.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 10 a.m. in St. Christopher’s Church, 4 Barell Lane, York, ME. Burial will be private in the Veteran’s Cemetery, Springvale, ME at a later date.
