Grafton — Alfred J. Corda, 82, a retired CPA died peacefully at home June 30, 2013 in the love and care of his family after a recent illness.
Al was a US Air Force Korean veteran from 1949 to 1952 serving as an Air Traffic Controller with the 24th Division during the advance into North Korea. His primary duties were to establish air communications to fighter aircraft and provide landing and takeoff instructions for tactical and supply drop operations.
Al also answered a call to civic duty for his community serving on many boards and committees for Grafton including The Grafton Housing Authority (past Chairman), A Commissioner and past Chairman of The Grafton Water District.

Westborough — Jeannette B. (Stomski) Capalbo, 91, of Westborough, died Sunday after a period of declining health.
Her husband, John B. Capalbo died in 1991. She is survived by three daughters and a beloved granddaughter. 

Marlborough — Anna J. (Fortin) Normandin, 99, of Marlborough, MA, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, just a few weeks short of her 100th birthday, after a brief illness
She was employed for many years at the Curtis and Corbin Shoe factories in Marlborough and was well known for her service at the Shopper's World Jordan Marsh Company, Framingham, where she worked part time in the ladies dress department. 

Natick — Edward Francis Galvin Jr., the son of the late Edward F. and Edna Mae (Ryan) Galvin died on the morning of Monday, July 1, 2013.  
He followed Boston sports as an avid fan and became one of the first player representatives working with players in pro hockey (Boston Bruins) pro basketball (Boston Celtics) and pro football (San Diego & Miami). Mr. Galvin was also a self-employed Probate Attorney and worked from 1965 until one day prior to his passing.
