PAWS will be holding a "Leave-It" Clinic on Wednesday, 8/21 at 6:00 P.m. at the Greenbriar Recreation Area in Oxford MA.
LEAVE-IT means you will never, ever, ever touch that object, ever! This command is essential for dogs that put everything in their mouth, chase other animals, steal your stuff and run away, pick up random objects on walks, and many more behaviors. Leave-It also teaches your dog impulse control.
Our LEAVE-IT workshop will teach you all of those skills and more!
During this Workshop, you will learn:
• How to get your dog to walk away from an object you don't want them to touch
• To ignore that squirrel that just darted out in front of your dog
• How to look to you for permission to touch an item, like rocks and dead animals
• You have more power and control over your dog than you know!
• Encouraging your dog to keep moving with you
Please bring HIGH value treats, a 20-foot (minimum) training line and a copy of your vaccination information. (Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepetitis, and Parainfluenza vaccines REQUIRED).
