Full Moon Walk at Prospect Park
October 17 and the Full Hunter’s
Moon. The Shrewsbury Trails Committee is sponsoring a naturalist- guided walk
from 7:30 to 8:30 that evening in Prospect Park. All are invited to discover…or
rediscover…this wooded and historic Town park right in the middle of Shrewsbury
on a moonlit night. We will set out at 7:30 from the Park entrance on Prospect
Street not far from the intersection of Boylston Street. Parking is available
at the Mt. Olivet Church on Prospect Street, a short walk from the Park.
Martha Gach, Shrewsbury resident and
Mass Audubon Naturalist, will be our leader. The walk will take us to the top
of the Park and back on paved and mulched paths. It is sure to be an
enlightening experience! Rain date is October 18th. For more information call Melanie Magee,
Committee member, at 508-842-2468 or email the Committee at
