Electrolytic Salt Water Etching

In this workshop students will learn the low-tech method of saltwater etching. Unlike other methods, which use harsh chemicals, saltwater etching is safer and accomplishes the same results. Electro-etching is when the etching bath is electrically charged. During this workshop students will learn how to make their own saltwater etching baths and have the knowledge to create their own setup at home. Preparation of metal, etching solution and various kinds of resists will be discussed during this workshop.
