TWO SPECIAL WORKSHOPS AT THE LIBRARY IN JANUARY

TWO SPECIAL WORKSHOPS AT THE LIBRARY IN JANUARY

A special workshop to help you plan for your retirement will be held at the Shrewsbury Public Library on Monday, January 6 at 6:00 PM.  The workshop presenter is Katherine D. French.  Attendees at this workshop will learn how to make smarter decisions about retirement income, highlighting the importance of guaranteed income throughout your retirement years.  Although this workshop is targeted for people 50 years old and above, the information presented will be valuable for anyone of any age.

There will also be two classes on how to self-publish your own books.  The first class, on Thursday, January 23 at 7:00 PM, will cover such topics as choosing appropriate software, preparing your book for publication, proofreading, and designing an attractive book cover.  The second class on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 PM, will include where to publish, how to market your book, how to get paid, and scams and red flags to watch out for.  Both classes are taught by Bob Stetson, a self-published author with several years experience in the field.
