Popular author Michael Tougias will be speaking at the Shrewsbury Public Library on Thursday, November 7, at 7:00 in the evening. The topic will be his latest book, “A Storm Too Soon: A True Story of Survival and a Remarkable Rescue.”
The book tells the calamitous story of a 2007 daring U.S. Coast Guard rescue of three survivors on a raft some 250 miles out to sea in the Gulf Stream. The author will have copies of his book available for sale.
Originally scheduled for last March, this event was postponed because of a major snow storm.
