Would You Go to a Slot Parlor in Millbury?
The state will allow one slot parlor to be built, possibly in Millbury.
Last week a developer unveiled plans for a $200 million slot casino in Millbury, but with full-service casinos planned for across the state, possibly as close as Milford, would you visit the slot parlor?
The Worcester Telegram and Gazette reports that the casino would be located near the intersection of Route 146 and the Mass. Pike and would have at least 1,250 slot machines.
The state gambling bill, which was passed last year, allows for three resort casinos and one slot parlor to be built across the state.
