Verona Grille Closes Its Doors

Though a sign says they are closed for repairs, the owner posted they are closed for good on his Facebook wall.

Verona Grille, a local restaurant on Clinton Street, closed its doors for good, according to their Facebook page.

The owner thanked his customers and said that the restaurant has closed.

A sign on the front door of the restaurant at 81 Clinton St. said it was closed for maintenance, but a neighbor and a Shrewsbury Patch reader said the restaurant closed because they said they hadn't paid some bills.

Verona Grille was a great restaurant and I'm so disappointed they closed. Their chowder and chicken Marsala were the best around. Please do what you need to do to reopen.

I used to work there. The kitchen looked unsanitary. And they had a very slow clientele and i made no money working there. Not only that one.of the owners used to try to ask me out. It was creepy and a crappy job. The food was great. But im not supprized.
