Cable Out? SELCO Working to Repair the Issues

SELCO announced on the town of Shrewsbury's website that after working overnight on Tuesday to repair issues that have been affecting the cable system, it has been able to track the problem to a particular piece of equipment. 

"SELCO is working with the highest level of Cisco support engineers in finding the root cause of the service interruptions. In the interim, we have developed a temporary work around for a number of the basic and expanded basic channels that are impacted, thus minimizing the service interruptions on these channels. Unfortunately, it is not possible to put the temporary patch on all channels as video engineers from Cisco need the error messages generated from the service interruptions in order to troubleshoot the problem. We will keep customers posted as we continue to work with Cisco in fixing this problem."
