Elevated Training Comes to Shrewsbury Next Week

Local residents John Rinaldo and Jeff Turgeon of Elevated Training LLC are bringing Massachusetts’ first outdoor Obstacle Race Training Facility to Ski Ward in Shrewsbury on Wednesday nights starting July 9. The course will be a venue for runners training for Spartan, Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, or any of the variety of obstacle races that are exploding across New England and the country, as a location as an alternate training paradigm for athletes of all levels, and as a unique destination for group and corporate events, or pro up team building activities.

Rinaldo, a former College Strength Coach, and Turgeon, former President and Executive Director of the Worcester Rugby Club look to bring years of fitness experience to provide a challenging facility that will appeal to athletes of all levels, and infuse a feeling of camaraderie boasted by runners clubs and obstacle course races.
