Bella, who is a female shepherd mix, went missing on Friday, Aug. 29, and lives near the Northborough, Boylston and Shrewsbury line. She went missing with her sister dog, Roo, who was found soon after they both disappeared.

Thanks to some concerned people, Bella has been found, and is home recovering with her family.

Bella was found at Harrington Farms, thanks to a young girl who lives there and found a contact number on Craigslist.

"My daughter Diane and her husband Roy went and got Bella at 9:30 this evening," said Patty Erickson. "Shrewsbury is a wonderful town, and thanks to the girl and her dad, Bella is safely home. Both Roo and Bella are home because of some kind and caring people. Bella was about three miles from home. Diane called, then Roy whistled, and they heard Bella cry. She was very, very happy to see them."

So happy for the family and kudos to those that were involved in the rescue. Nice to see a good ending to this type of story! There have been a lot of fliers going up for a missing cat near Francis Ave in Shrewsbury, so let's get that family a happy ending too.
