All Access Physical Therapy continues our Senior Strong program with classes starting March 3rd

Senior Strong is an integrated group fitness class which addresses a wide range of physical fitness issues.  In a friendly group atmosphere seniors are able to improve their posture, flexibility, balance and strength.  Seniors who participate receive a comprehensive home exercise plan as well as educational handouts regarding proper posture, walking mechanics and body mechanics with instruction in safety activities around the home.

Each class lasts for one hour and is overseen by Lindsey Davis, Physical Therapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy.   The classes are FREE to all and run Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30-12:30 pm.  The program runs through April 10th.  Lindsey has completed coursework with renowned geriatric specialist Carleen Lindsey who is well known in the fitness industry working with Geriatric Exercise Principles.  Lindsey  has incorporated what she learned from her course work into the development of this program.  With the level of training she comes to the table with, each exercise can easily be adapted to fit individual specific needs.

“My goal as a physical therapist, as well as the mission of All Access Physical Therapy, is to create avenues for ongoing health and wellness for each of our patient’s once they have recovered from their injuries,” says Lindsey.  “This class provides an option for our senior population to continue their well journey in a safe and fun way!”
