Shrewsbury Gets Pilot Payment; 'Left Behind' at the Library

Here's what we think you'd like to know on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

1. The Board of Selectmen meet on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Municipal Office Building at 7 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Among the agenda items is a public hearing on the presentation of a pilot payment to the town by Paul Campaniello, chairman of the Shrewsbury Housing Authority.

2. At 10:30 a.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, join this special storytime for children who are left behind when older siblings start or return to school by listening to "Left Behind." Stories, songs, and a craft. No registration required. Just drop in!

3. It's almost the deadline to sign up to be in the Spirit of Shrewsbury parade. Don't miss it!

4. It's back to school on Tuesday. Are you ready? Did you do all your summer reading? Do you like your new teacher?

5. In fact, we'd love for you to share your back to school shots right here!
