Expect Traffic Disruptions Sunday

Today, learn about the Spirit of Shrewsbury parade traffic pattern, and when you can register your child for youth basketball in town.

1. Heading to the Spirit of Shrewsbury this weekend? Shrewsbury Police want the public to know that traffic will disrupted Sunday for the parade, which will be from the Beal School building and proceed on Maple Avenue to Oak Street and end at Oak Middle School. Because of the expected high turnout, police will close the parade route to motor vehicle traffic beginning at approximately 1 p.m., until the parade passes at about 3 p.m. If you have any questions, contact the Shrewsbury Police at 508-845-4681.
