Suspicious Jehovah's Witnesses, Driver With Two Flat Tires
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Feb. 19
1:44 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle near the Worcester City Motel and advised the operator that both of the front tires were flat.
10:14 a.m.: A caller from Cherry Street reported a pair of suspicious solicitors. An officer responded and spoke to the pair who were Jehovah’s Witnesses.
11:33 a.m.: A vehicle was towed after an officer stopped the driver for operating with an expired registration.
1:47 p.m.: A caller from the Shrewsbury Post Office reported that protesters outside were upsetting customers.
8:25 p.m.: Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department went to a residence on Shrewsbury Green Drive and took one person in to protective custody because they were causing a disturbance.
Wednesday, Feb. 20
12:26 a.m.: A caller from Francis Gardens Court reported that there was an unwanted person at their backdoor. The unwanted person was taken in to protective custody.
