Looking to recycle electronics? Come on down to the electronic's fundraiser at high school, 65 Holden Street, on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to raise money for the Shrewsbury High School Girls' Ice Hockey Club. The fundraiser will be in the upper parking lot.
Want to pitch in and volunteer? Go to Spring Street School on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and help by raking and bagging leaves, cleaning up the gardens, playground areas and fields and painting the bridge, tables and signs.
Always wanted to try cheerleading or football? Now's your chance at the Pass Punt & Kick Fun Competition at Oak Middle School. Registration for this event begins Saturday, Oct. 23 at 9 a.m. Opening ceremonies are at 10 a.m. and the competition begins at 10:30 a.m. A hot dog lunch will be provided. Closing ceremonies and awards will be held after the games.
Can't wait to know the future? Come to the hypnotist, which is the Shrewsbury Senior High School senior class fundraiser, Saturday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m., 65 Holden St., in the auditorium.
Want to know your health age? The Shrewsbury Council on Aging is having a Health Expo at the Senior Center on Sunday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The senior center is located at 98 Maple Ave., next to the town hall.
