Police Log: Walking in Traffic, Stolen Check

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 30

7:46 a.m.: A resident of Shrewsbury Green reported larceny by check.

7:59 a.m.: One vehicle was towed after a two-car crash on Hartford Turnpike.

12:29 p.m.: A caller from Bunker Hill Road reported their car was egged overnight.

3:39 p.m.: An officer conducted traffic enforcement on Hill Street and Mercury Drive.

3:45 p.m.: One car was towed after a two-car crash on Hartford Turnpike.

3:52 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run crash on Main Street.

5:46 p.m.: A resident went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report identity theft.

8:26 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of larceny at UPS on Hartford Turnpike.

11:48 p.m.: A caller reported a female walking in traffic on Boston Turnpike.

Thursday, Jan. 31

12:29 a.m.: One person was ticketed after they crashed their car on Boston Turnpike.

Overnight: Officers removed various types of debris that had been knocked down by heavy winds from the roads.
