Police Log: Stolen Jewelry, House Fire
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Nov. 16
11:28 a.m.: An officer at the Shrewsbury Police Department investigated a report of an assault by motor vehicle.
12:09 p.m.: A caller reported that their lawn mower had been stolen on Richard Avenue.
2:45 p.m.: An officer took a report of vandalism at the Oak Middle School.
3:48 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a break-in on Flagg Road.
10:27 p.m.: An officer advised partygoers on Fox Hill Road to quiet down after a complaint from their neighbors.
Saturday, Nov. 17
9:02 a.m.: A caller from Whippoorwill Drive reported four suspicious youths in their backyard. An officer responded and confiscated marijuana items that were entered in to evidence.
1:55 p.m.: A caller from Sewell Street reported that some jewelry had been stolen.
5:01 p.m.: An officer arrested George Loiseau, 58, of 65 Lake Ave., Apt. 210, Worcester. Loiseau allegedly violated a harassment prevention order. There were also warrant charges against Loiseau for larceny by check.
Continuing: An officer performed traffic enforcement on Route 9 near the Worcester end of town. Several drivers were given verbal warnings.
Sunday, Nov. 18
Continuing: Officers issued several parking violation notices around town.
11:07 a.m.: A caller reported that their business at 170 Boston Turnpike had been broken into.
7:55 p.m.: An officer searched the area around Pinedale Road for a male that had allegedly attempted to break into a construction trailer in Worcester.
Monday, Nov. 19
11:46 a.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Transmission reported a larceny from the business.
