Police Log: Shrewsbury Woman Arrested for Second OUI

Sunday, Jan. 29:

12:31 a.m.: Two suspicious girls were reported on Boston Turnpike. They were taken to the police station to be picked up by their parents.

2:11 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.

6:57 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Shrewsbury Green Drive for a woman with an irregular heart rate. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

8:12 a.m.: A caller reported vandalism to their landscape lights. responded and advised there was no vandalism, but wind blew the light over.

8:23 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Edgewood Road for a man with the question of a stroke. He was taken to UMass.

8:38 a.m.: A medical call was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue for a man with an unknown medical problem. He was taken to St. Vincent's.

9:13 a.m.: A caller reported a noise disturbance coming from the corner of Route 9 and Lake Street.

9:14 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Maple Avenue for a woman at the police station. She was taken to the hospital and discharged back to the police station.

11:50 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Francis Gardens Court for a woman not feeling well. She was taken to UMass.

2:39 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a domestic dispute. A report was taken.

3:46 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman who was unresponsive, but breathing. She was taken to UMass.

4:02 p.m.: A father called and reported his son was being harassed at a park near Robertson Drive. Police responded and could not locate the youths in question.

5:32 p.m.: A caller reported an animal in the road on Hartford Turnpike. The deer was removed.

6:14 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with chest pains. She was taken to UMass.

6:50 p.m.: A caller reported a dispute with a neighbor on Bumblebee Circle. Police spoke to the people involved.

6:52 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman not feeling well. She was taken to UMass.

6:59 p.m.: A caller reported a dispute with a neighbor on Bumblebee Circle. Police advised they spoke to the people involved.

7:23 p.m.: A domestic dispute was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue.

8:34 p.m.: Multiple calls reported . The fire department responded and a woman was taken to an area hotel. A report was taken.

Monday, Jan. 30:

12:11 a.m.: Kathleen A. Curran, 59, of 19 Hancock St., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, failure to wear a seat belt, OUI, second offense, drinking alcohol from an open container, failure to stop for police and possession of a Class E substance.

1:25 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Caroline Avenue for a woman with injuries from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

6:18 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Manor Road for a man feeling faint. He was taken to UMass.
