8:45 a.m.: Police received a 911 hangup call from a man who said he was trying to call India.

1:43 p.m.: A caller advised police of ongoing vandalism to her property on Grafton Street. Police requested extra patrols for the evening, when the vandalism seemed to be occurring.

4:16 p.m.: A motorized scooter was reported stolen from the IHOP parking lot, 70 Boston Tpke.

6:45 p.m.: Tara Preble, 32, of 7 Old Brook Cir., Shrewsbury, was arrested at home and charged with assault and battery.

7:18 p.m.: A caller reported illegal dumping on Hapgood Way.

8 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance on Lake Quinsigamond; people were reportedly tubing after dark near Coast Guard Island.

9:58 p.m.: Police did a well-being check on a "highly intoxicated" man in a Shrewsbury Green Drive apartment.
