Police Log: Mailbox Vandalism, Transformer Fire
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Jan. 29
10:39 a.m.: A resident reported that his vehicle was damaged when he hit a manhole cover on Main Street Monday night.
1:31 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with an alarm and a burst pipe on Harrington Avenue.
2:42 p.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond reported vandalism to their mailbox.
10:47 p.m.: A caller reported that a transformer at the intersection of Grafton Street and Hartford Turnpike was on fire. The fire was extinguished by the time responders arrived.
