Fountains in Dean Park Shut Down Temporarily
The Shrewsbury Board of Health has shut down the fountains at Dean Park due to algae levels.
The Musical/Dancing Fountains at Dean Park were closed Saturday due to harmful algae levels in the pond.
According to a news release from the Shrewsbury Board of Health, the town will be notified when it is safe to reactivate the fountains.
People should stay out of the water, and keep children and pets from the water as well. For more information, see the attached PDF.
