Facebook Fan Questions the Quality of School Lunches

Facebook posting included comments on school events and Bible scriptures.

Here at Shrewsbury Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Highlights of the Week

Currently, we've got 168 fans liking us on Facebook, which is a great thing. If you haven't already, Like our Facebook page.

Facebook Fan Patricia Babbitt Minton commented on the Shrewsbury Senior Center's lunch menu: "Wow, the senoirs eat better than the school kids. The School Department should look into better meals for the kids."

Social Media Page of the Week

The Trinity Episcopal Church in town has a Facebook page and posts information and scriptures: "Go after God, who piles on all the riches we could ever manage - to do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous. If you do that you'll build a treasury that will last, gaining life that is truly life." -- 1 Timothy 6: 17-19
