Abandoned Lady Needs a Home

Help Sarah find a friend who won't move.

Sarah is a 4-year-old purebred boxer who was found abandoned in a home after her owners moved away. During her brief stint with the (WARL), she has proven to be a sweet dog who would be comfortable snuggling with an owner or two of her own.

Sarah is still wary around other animals so she would do best in a family without small children or other animals. If she sounds like a match, contact Dog Adoption Coordinator Liz Fay to learn more about her. Homeowners, please remember to bring your mortgage statement; renters bring a copy of your lease agreement. Everyone who adopts must bring in a driver’s license.

If you would like to help WARL but cannot adopt a pet, don’t forget that Jak’s Pub in Worcester holds weekly open mic nights as fundraisers for the shelter. For those fans of all things furry, live music and good drinks, this is the charity to seek out. Performers in all genres and nonmusical acts including poets and performance artists are welcome to show off their talents.
