The Shrewsbury police arrest a break-in suspect after a two-hour manhunt on Minuteman Way.

1. A Shrewsbury resident came home to find a man breaking into his home on Minuteman Way. He chased the suspect out of his yard and after a search with the aide of the state police helicopter and K-9 unit, the Shrewsbury police arrested a local man and charged him in the break-in. The investigation continues and the man will be arraigned in Westborough District Court later on today.

4. The Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen will meet tonight to discuss the loose dog complaints from neighbors around Route 140. The selectmen met last month to hear from neighbors who were concerned that Drexel was loose, but the owner did not attend the hearing. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the town hall and the fate of the dog is expected to be determined.
5. Bring your kids to the Shrewsbury Public Library for the Baby and Me Story Time, 10:30 a.m., 609 Main St.
