1. The Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the town hall and will discuss I-495 and the Burns Bridge projects.

2. On this day in 1865, the 13th Amendment was ratified. It abolished slavery and it came about eight months after the end of the Civil War. Want to read more about it? Stop by the library and pick up some books on the slavery.

3. Bring you child to the Baby and Me Story Time at 10:30 a.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St.
