1. Shrewsbury Robotics posted a video on their Facebook page of their recent win in Washington, D.C. It's amazing what these kids accomplished after they worked together to achieve a common goal.
2. Practice Spanish with others at the Beginner's Spanish class, 10:30 a.m., at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St.
3. The decommissioning of the World War I Memorial in front of Beal School will take place at 10 a.m., 1 Maple Ave.
4. On this day in 1963, Winston Churchill became an honorary citizen of the United States. Today is known as Winston Churchill Day. To learn more about the British leader, visit the Shrewsbury Public Library and take out a biography on him.
5. Registration is open for the Music Together spring session, all day today Apple Country Music Together, 440 Main St.
