5 Things You Missed at the Selectmen's Meeting Last Night

They approved a caution sign and a license for St. Mary's Family Festival.

The met last night and approved the following items:

1. The selectmen unanimously approved placing a "caution children" sign on Hawthorne Road.

2. They also approved a license for St. Mary's Catholic Church for the weekend of Sept. 16 for their family festival.

3. Selectmen also approved a one day wine and malt beverages license for the family festival from above.

4. The selectmen also approved sending a request from Kristen Wilson to add zoning bylaw amendments to the special town meeting articles in September of 2011. It was submitted to the Planning Board.

5. The selectmen also reappointed John Knipe Jr. to serve as the Board of Selectmen's delegate to the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission.

The next meeting of the selectmen is scheduled for Aug. 9 at 7 p.m.
