NEW PROGRAMS OFFERED AT TECHNOLOGY LEARNING CENTER
Shrewsbury, MA – Individuals from Shrewsbury that are interested in a new career path, now have more course choices at Technology Learning Center (TLC) in Oxford, MA. TLC is now offering business programs in addition to the trade programs they have been offering over the last decade. These new programs include Bookkeeping and Accounting Skills and Computer A+ Essentials, Networks and Securities.
“During these hard economic times it is essential to optimize practical skill sets and educational training in order to find the best possible career that will sustain an individual,” says Tony Chamoun, President and Director at Technology Learning Center. “With these new programs we are able to expand into the business sector and help individuals develop or enhance a skill set, so that they are more desirable to employers.”
In addition to the new business school programs, they still offer programs in their trade school that include HVAC, Alternative Energy and Steam Engineering training for both licensing and certification. Their instructors are industry experts, many of which spend their days working in their given industry and evenings teaching at Technology Learning Center.
Patricia Guiney Clarkson, Technology Learning Center’s Career Development Specialist says, “There is a great blend of programs offered at TLC, we have many students return to receive advanced training. They love the flexible schedules and different payment options, but most of all, our students appreciate that we work to help them find a job once they have completed a program.”
